Step Three: All going to plan your LISTING will go LIVE on our Go Māori Online Business Directory and you’ll be approved to start posting on the Buy Māori Made FB Group of 137k plus buyers!

It is free for BUYERS and SELLERS to join the BMM FB Group, however if you are a SELLER looking to post with us you will need to purchase a BMM Standard Membership.

 A BMM Standard Membership (12 months) is $99.00 per annum, however our current early bird special and start-up specials are running where businesses can access this for $60.00 per annum.  

Your membership entitles you to; 1) A 12 month listing on the Go Māori Online Business Directory, 2) Access to the Buy Māori Made FB Group of 137k (and growing) buyers! and 3) priority access and consideration for Go Māori Ltd and Buy Māori Made marketing, promotional and event opportunities.

NOTE: 

• 12 month membership starts from date listing goes LIVE
• Frequency of access to the Buy Māori Made FB Group is at the discretion of Moderators.  Whilst we have no hard and fast rules (yet!) our goal is to ensure all our pakihi get equal air time and therefore we may decline posts at times if we feel your pakihi is posting too frequently. By registering with us you confirm you understand the tikanga and rules of the group.  Our general rule of thumb is one post per pakihi per month (12 posts per year).

We have a report function on the BMM FB Group where you can report any SELLERS.

When we receive a complaint about a SELLER our process is as follows; 1) Seek evidence from BUYER to back up complaint, if evidence is provided we then suspend SELLER profile on page for 24 hours and attempt to make contact with SELLER, if no evidence provided matter is considered CLOSED, 2)Once contact is made with SELLER seek to negotiate  a resolution, if resolution is agreed then followed through the SELLER profile is reinstated, if resolution not agreed to then SELLER may be permanently removed from the page.

We want to ensure that we build a brand that represents Māori values, is underpinned by quality and has a focus on sustainability.

When pakihi Māori register with us we use the following checks and verifications;

1. Pepeha – we ask that all pakihi provide their pepeha as a verification of their whakapapa Māori
2. Due Diligence – we check the business website, socials, company search and google search to ensure there are no red flags. 
3. We are keen to ensure the Buy Māori Made brand is known for quality and sustainability – we may seek further information from pakihi about supply chain providers and it remains at our discretion whether or not pakihi are APPROVED to sell with Go Māori and Buy Māori Made.  Pakihi musty align with BMM values and brand.

The Buy Maaori Made FB Group is free for BUYERS, however there is a small fee for SELLERS to access the platform.

SELLERS must be of Maaori descent, i.e must have whakapapa Maaori.  APPROVALS remain at our discretion.

SELLERS accessing our platform and services are asked to supply their pepeha to verify their whakapapa Maaori.

We may also do further information checks to ensure the business is reputable and that there are no red flags.  Businesses will be asked to ensure they consider their ability to meet demand and maintain communication with their BUYERS.

YES!  It is free for BUYERS and SELLERS to join the Buy Māori Made FB page.  However, if you want to POST and SELL with us you will need to purchase the BMM Standard Membership.
